Active Older Adult Exercise Class

These 45-minute exercise classes are designed to help seniors gain strength, increase mobility, and improve balance. They are fantastic for beginner to intermediate level participants, as all the exercises can be done either seated in a chair or in a standing position. Only basic equipment is needed; we use a small set of hand weights and a resistance band.

Chair Yoga

The Chair Yoga classes are a 45-minute gentle practice in which postures are performed while seated and/or standing with the aid of a chair. Chair Yoga classes typically target those with physical disabilities or aging participants who need assistance with balance or have challenges getting down to or up off the floor.

Advanced Active Older Adult Exercise Class

These 45-minute classes are designed to progress seniors into more challenging strength, mobility, and balance exercises. They are fantastic for advanced participants, as all the exercises are done either in the standing position or on the floor. Equipment needed includes a variety of hand weights, a resistance band, an exercise mat, a yoga strap, and yoga blocks.
