Welcome to our eighth and final pre-natal yoga class. For the first portion Gillian will be focusing on that connection you have with the growing fetus inside of you. We need to honour the special miracle that is happening inside of you.
Today's second session of pre-natal yoga Gillian is standing. She uses the aid of yoga blocks. They serve as great tool to help you maintain the integrity of the poses without straining your body. Don't forget the focus of today's practise is to honour this stage of your life.
The last and final stage of today's pre-natal class is designed to help open the muscles in the seated position and generate the feeling of ease and relaxation. One way to honour the miracle that is inside you is to honour your body. Be aware that the tendons and ligaments are loosening more so because you are pregnant so make sure that you are not taking the postures deeper than you need to.
